Most Pellvetica indoor murals, averaging around 140 square feet, take about three days to complete from start to finish.
The exact timeline depends on the design’s size, surface preparation, and complexity. Smaller murals are often completed over a single weekend, while large-scale or multi-wall projects may take anywhere from two to fifteen days, including concept development and production.
For an accurate estimate, contact Pellvetica via our Contact button in the top navigation with your wall dimensions and project details.

Pellvetica murals are typically priced per square foot, with a minimum project size of 100 square feet. This average rate applies to most indoor mural commissions. Pricing can vary depending on wall size, access, and design complexity. Larger murals (over 200 square feet) or projects with full creative freedom may qualify for a lower unit rate. Smaller spaces or difficult installations may require a higher rate to cover additional costs such as scaffolding, aerial lift rentals, PPE, anti-graffiti coating, or special insurance. If more than three rounds of artwork revisions are required, additional design time is billed hourly. Contact Pellvetica for a detailed quote based on your wall dimensions and project scope.
-
Pellvetica mural pricing includes both the artists’ fee and all paint materials. Clients are responsible for wall or surface preparation—such as cleaning and priming—as well as any additional costs for equipment or protection. These may include scaffolding or aerial lift rentals, anti-graffiti coating (recommended for all outdoor murals), or project-specific insurance. Pellvetica is based in Lantzville, just north of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. For mural projects outside the area, travel and accommodation fees may apply.

Pellvetica follows a clear, collaborative process to make each project smooth from concept to completion:
Initial Consultation: We start by discussing your project by email or phone. Please have the exact wall or surface dimensions ready so we can prepare an accurate quote.
Quote and Deposit: Once you approve the estimate, we arrange an in-person site visit (if needed) to take measurements. A signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit secure your booking.
Concept Development: After receiving your deposit, we begin concept sketches and digital mockups, providing up to three revisions within the initial fee. Additional revisions are billed hourly.
Final Artwork and Installation: When the final design is approved, we move into digital production and then hand-paint the mural or prepare vinyl installation.
Project Completion: When your mural is finished, you’ll receive a final invoice for the remaining balance, due within 30 days (Net 30).
Digital artwork files are also available for marketing use, such as brochures, tradeshow graphics, or promotional materials.

A professionally designed mural can transform a workplace. Pellvetica murals enhance company culture, inspire creativity, and create an inviting environment for employees and visitors alike. Businesses use murals to strengthen brand identity, celebrate community values, and turn blank walls into meaningful storytelling spaces. Clients often find that murals improve morale, spark collaboration, and make offices more visually engaging for both in-person and virtual interactions. They also serve as striking backdrops for video calls, media features, and photography. Murals don’t just decorate a space — they help shape how people feel and connect within it.

Pellvetica accepts Interac e-Transfers from all major Canadian banks, certified or corporate cheques, and international wire transfers. To confirm a booking, clients provide a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit based on the total project cost. When the mural or illustration is complete, a final invoice for the remaining 50% and any approved expenses is issued, payable Net 30 from completion. Any additional work requested after the initial agreement is treated as a new project with its own contract and invoice.
-
By default, Pellvetica retains full intellectual property (IP) rights to all artwork created unless a separate written agreement transfers those rights. This ensures the artists maintain creative ownership while granting clients the usage rights defined in their contract. Custom-commissioned artwork remains exclusive to each client and is never resold or reused without consent. For projects requiring full IP transfer—such as under non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) or specialized licensing—clients may purchase complete ownership for an additional fee. Pellvetica regularly works with NDAs and customized usage-rights agreements to meet each client’s needs.
-
Pellvetica occasionally accepts pro bono or volunteer mural and illustration projects that support community initiatives or causes the artists believe in. While the creative work is provided without charge, clients are responsible for covering all material and logistical costs, including paint, wall preparation, equipment rentals, protective coatings, and insurance. Pro bono projects are most appealing when they offer significant creative freedom and align with Pellvetica’s artistic values or community interests. These collaborations often serve as opportunities to experiment with new styles and techniques while contributing to meaningful local projects.
